Programme Description

Students who have successfully completed the LLB programme and who have demonstrated advanced proficiency in Arabic are eligible to transfer all their credit hours from the first degree to enroll in this programme. In other words, within this period students may obtain double degrees, i.e. LL.B and LL.B_S.

In this programme, students are required to take additional credit hours of Shari'ah courses, which will be conducted in Arabic. The additional subjects are as follows :

• Qur'anic Ayat & Hadith on Law
• Usul al-Fiqh
• Legal Text
• Asbab Al-Ikhtiaf
• Fiqh Al-Muqarran fi al-Ahwal Al Shakhisiyyah
• Islamic Law of Evidence and Procedure
