Clusters

AlKindi Cluster

This clusters consist of 56 CPU ( 7 servers, Dual CPU, 4 cores/CPU) with a total of 70 GB memory and common storage of 2.5 TeraBytes. We provide common open source bio-informatics software such as Blast, Clustalw and Hmmer. The cluster is open for all academicians and researchers.

Labs

CCT has 2 labs that researchers may use.

• Lab 1 near ITD's Computing Lab has several PC that may be used to access our clusters.
  
• Lab 2 house some SunRay thin clients machines. These can be also used to access our clusters as well as MIMOS clusters

Terminal Server

To facilitate access to MIMOS' KnowledgeGrid, CCT has setup 1 terminal server to act as gateway to the cluster. Usage of the cluster, however, require formal application to MIMOS. Please contact our office for more detail.
