History of CITA

The Centre for IT Advancement (CITA) was established in October 2004 at the Kulliyyah of Information andCommunicationTechnology(KICT). Services offered by CITA are therefore further extension to the functions of the Kulliyyah as a profit center providing the complete range of executive programs, educational courses in ICT, including professional certification and consulting services.

It is also one of the newer Strategic Business Units under the IIUM Deputy Rector Office (Research and Innovation) delivering service within and outside the campus walls.
