International Computer Driving License (ICDL) covers nearly 80% of the computer skills areas people waste most time on? It is a certification that internationally recognized as the ICT competency benchmark for end-user in computer skills and is the leading certification to be widely adopted by world governments, international organizations and corporations alike.

ICDL delivered in 150 countries, translated into 40 languages and 25 million tests have been taken through 28,000 accredited test centers worldwide. The ICDL holder is competent in the use of personal computer and common computer applications and knows the essential concepts of IT. In commercial world today, technology can only give businesses a competitive edge if everyone uses it effectively, therefore ICDL emphasize the application of the ICT technology into your daily business activities effectively.

Centre for IT Advancement, International Islamic University Malaysia was appointed as the Accredited Test Centre (ATC) of ICDL at Malaysia by MSC Management Services Sdn Bhd since 24^th March 2009. We entrusted the absolute right in managing, administering, control and implement ICDL programme in this country. This programme is currently engaged by several government agencies for internal certification training programme, namely Ministry of Education and Prime Minister Office. Apart from that, ICDL programme is subsidize by SMIDEC to local SMI/E Entrepreneurs with allocation of RM 1 million, project since January 2007. Noteable achievement also goes with project together with Ministry of Youth and Sport in accredit local training centers to provide ICDL to youth at nationwide level.
