The Centre for Credited Leadership and Virtues (CLAV) aims to enhance the spritual and leadership knowledge of IIUM students as a way to uphold the university's mission to produce a well-rounded graduate.  Every semester, CLAV offers more than 100 credited co-curricular courses comprises of the Mainstream, Niche and Uniform/Government Structured Programmes ranging from a spiritual course like Fard 'Ayn to an outdoor sport like Tennis. 

The undergraduate students are expected to fulfill 3-credit hour of CLAV courses according to their Study Plan in order to complete the university's graduation requirement.  Their participation and performance in co-curricular activities are acknowledged and assessed by well-experienced Lecturer/Trainer/Instructor/Facilitator (LTIF) appointed by the Director and the CLAV team.  

CLAV (formerly known as CCAC and CLASS) is committed and consistent in empowering the students with skills and knowledge, hence supporting the university's goal to develop the students' holistic personality.
