Being in a counseling session does NOT mean you’ll have to endure a barrage of advice, suggestions or ‘gasp’ critical comments (think reality television judges), because a counselor’s role is mostly to be supportive and understanding. They’ll listen to your problems, minor or major, and will respond to you in a non-judgmental attitude. A counselor can also help you in making the right decisions or choice according to your capability.

As far as procedures go, the sessions are held in a comfortable and private place, and will only take 50 minutes of your time per session. Being with a counselor means all of your problems will be kept confidential, so there is no need to worry about keeping things under wraps. Privacy is not merely our motto; it’s our guarantee of your trust.  So, have no fear, when in doubt or you have certain concerns that needs to be discussed, drop by the Counseling Services Centre. We are here to help.
