Once again, U-Mission Club IIUM will organize a humanitarian mission:

Name of mission:  Global Mission-Journey of Khalifah to Cambodia 2.

Date                 :  3rd to 11th October 2014

Place                 :  Dam Sbai village in Battambang Province, Cambodia

This humanitarian project is supervised by CENSERVE in collaborations with IIUM Health and Wellness Centre, UMission4Life Team, IKRAM (Shah Alam) and Alumni Association of Sek. Men. Sultan Abdul Halim (SMSAH, Jitra).  This is the 2nd outreach project in Cambodia by the U-Mission Club IIUM.

Some of the humanitarian activities to be held will be:

1.               Slaughtering of cows for qurban and aqiqah

2.               Mass male circumcision

3.               Distribution of donations (monetary, clothes, al-quran, muqaddam, sejadah, school stationaries)

4.               Clean water project (digging of wells) at a cost of RM 1000.00 per well.

5.               Children’s fund education project.

Therefore, we are in need of support from all kind-hearted IIUM community, in the form of cash and kind. We welcome contributions in the form of money (zakat, fidyah), telekung, sarung batik/pelikat, kopiah and children clothes; which will be distributed to the Muslim community of Cambodia.

IIUM Kuantan Humanitarian Mission to Cambodia 2013

Donation for Outreach to Mabul Island (Series V)
-18-23 April 2011

This project is run by a group of IIUM students called MISI Club as part of  their social responsibility contribution to the community. The firtst until fourth series of visit conducted earlier were very successful in reaching out the villagers. Love, trust and brotherhood were well developed between the IIUM students, staff and the villagers.
The students conducted learning awareness classes for the children, motivational activities for those who go to school.

For the fifth time, the MISI Club plans to conduct another series of community service activities at Mabul Island, Semporna, Sabah from 18 – 23 April 2011. We plan to do the following activities:

i.             Setting up a mini library
ii.            Reading classes
iii.           English learning
iv.           Health awareness
vi.           Religious activities

We have organized fund raising activities for this project, but has not received enough collection. The students are self-supported for their air-tickets.
