The Office of DDAA carries the responsibilities to plan and manage all activities related to undergraduate academic affairs. Among the responsibilities are:

  • Implementation of teaching and learning process effectively for OBE.
  • Coordinate programme assessment and academic review
  • Provide effective teaching and learning facilities and services to staff and students
  • Ensure all programme are properly accredited
  • Assist staff members in academic activities.

Kulliyyah of Engineering (KoE) offers 9 engineering programmes (Hons) namely; Biochemical – Biotechnology, Communication, Electronics-Computer and Information, Manufacturing, Materials, Aerospace, Mechanical-Automotive, Mechatronics and Civil (Sept 2015 onwards).  As of 2014, KOE has produced 5057 engineers and about 15 % of them are from 38 different countries around the world. 

These programmes have been carefully designed to provide in-depth knowledge that allows a fundamental-based first principles analytical approach.  All our programmes are accredited by Engineering Accreditation Council which is a member of Washington Accord.   Prominent industrial advisory board members are appointed for all programmes to ensure curriculums’ relevance to industries. We have a world class facility with state-of-the-art equipment to provide excellent learning opportunities to the students.  With our conducive teaching and learning environment, and good support system; I strongly believe student at KoE will gain wonderful experiences throughout their 4 years of study.
