09. Appeal against Grade

  • When a student considers a course grade to have been unfairly assigned, the student should first confer with the course instructor to review his/her examination papers and/or coursework.
  • If the matter remains unresolved, the student may institute a formal review of the final examination grade by writing an appeal to the Director of IIUM Graduate School of Management. 
  • As per University requirements, a non-refundable fee RM100.00 is payable at the time the student initiates a formal appeal.
  • The appeal will only affect the final examination results. Carry marks, i.e. the sum total of assignments, attendance and mid term exam, is fixed and will not be changed
