10. Comprehensive Examination

A student is required to pass a comprehensive examination as a condition to graduate and to register for research work.

A student may register for his comprehensive examination only if he meets the following conditions:

(i)           CGPA is 3.00 or above.

(ii)          Has completed all courses with code 71XX.

A student who fails in the comprehensive examination shall be allowed to repeat the examination only twice. Should he fail the comprehensive examination on his third attempt; he shall be dismissed from the programme.
