Background

The fund and wealth management industry plays an important role in the development of a country's capital market and its financial services sector as a whole. It encompasses participation from a broad range of service providers such as asset management companies, banks, non-bank financial intitutions, financial planners and a variety of adviers. The fund management industry is well-established in Malaysia. The industry registered a CAGR of 13.4% over a six-year period from 2009 to 2015. Despite the promising growth of the fund and wealth management industry, the industry still needs to develop and offer a more comprehensive package of wealth management services and innovations to meert the diverse needs of clients. the industry's future hence lies in its ability to develop and offer more sophisticated fun solutions and complement this with other Islamic wealth management services including strategies for wealt preservation and distribution. Therefore, this international forum shall provide a platform for all relevent stakeholders to share and discuss possible recommendations and solutions for the industry to develop further. The outcome of this forum will eventually position and equip Malasia to become the global hub for Islamic fund management and wealth management indusrty.

Paper Submission

Formatting: A4 paper, single spacing, Times new Roman 11, margin 1 inch/2.54 cm, 12 pages (maximum) including references.

 
Paper structure: Title, Authors info, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, Data and Methodology (for paper using quantitative methods), Findings and Discussion, Conclusion and Recommendations, References (APA style).
