1 Executive Information System (EIS)

EIS also known as IIUM Data  Warehouse. It manages related info of IIUM – Students, Staffs, Publication & Research. The system objective is to provide reports, analysis and data IIUM community.
2 Enhancement of language system
  • Implementation of new grading of English Placement Test for New Intake students and Currently Enrolled Students
  • Implementation of PRSS/Bridging/PAIDE result slip new format
  • Implementation of APT/EPT slip for new intake students
  • Modification of APT/EPT history and maintenance that included the EPT band.
3 Deployment of Mailmarshal SPAM console To enable Exchange user manage their own spam
4 Email Migration

Migrate users from Sendmail to MS Exchange
5 IP Telephony (Phase 1) To upgrade the existing Telecommunication system at CFS (PJ & Nilai), ISTAC and IIiBF to IP Based Telephony system.
6 Mahallah pre-registration Ver 2 2nd version of online pre-registration of mahallah for dwi semester and integrated with SRMS
7 Network Upgrade for CFS Petaling Jaya Campus To replace and upgrade all old network equipment at CFS PJ
8 IIUM-MIMOS Ultrafast High Performance Computing To purchase CWDM switches for establishing 4Gbps direct link to MIMOS High Performance Computing Lab
9 Redundant Link of network Backbone, IIUM Gombak Campus

To add redundant link between all IIUM Gombak distribution switches and core switches, inclusive the purchase of 4 units of distribution switches to replace the old distribution switch.

Upgrade of Additional Bandwidth for IIUM Internet Access and VPN connection

 To increase the bandwidth of IIUM Internet Access and VPN connection, which includes the relocation of IIUM Internet Gateway from Glenmarie to Gombak Campus
11 Desktop and Notebook for IIUM  Staffs (New procurement)
  • To purchase new notebooks and desktops computer to replace the existing unit that has been outdated.
  • The desktop & notebooks has been delivered to ITD and currently in progress to distribute to eligible staff.
12 Additional Harddisk for AMS200 SAN To add additional harddisk to the existing SAN
13 OnlineBiodata update for New Student Students can update their biodata thru online
14 Enhancement of Renovation Work Progress Management system

Renovation Work Progress Management system.  Its enable a job to be assigned ,update and monitor thoroughly

14 University Wikipedia for Lecturer Wikipedia for lecturer, to put research information etc
15 Outlook Live @Edu Migration

To give students look and feel of new Live@Edu offerings.
16 Installation Of Wireless Network at IIUM Residential To extend the wireless network coverage at all IIUM Residential Area which include Gombak, Kuantan, PJ, Nilai and ISTAC
