•   What is IIUM Microsoft Exchange

Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions. MS Exchange's major features consist of electronic mail, calendaring, contacts and tasks; support for mobile and web-based access to information; and support for data storage. IIUM Microsoft Exchange is available at https://mail.iium.edu.my/owa. Simply enter your email ID and password

• Email Request

For any new staff, you may request by call directly to our Service Desk counter at Ext : 6666 or email to servicedesk@iium.edu.my. Email can be only requested if your personal record is in our database.

•  Request Status

You may check the status of your email application right after our Service Desk personnel submitting your request where a report ID will be given to you to do the checking. Please call 6666 if you encounter any problems regarding your request status.

•   How to log in

You can access IIUM Microsoft Exchange by go to https://mail.iium.edu.my/owa

•  How to configure the email using Microsoft Outlook.

•  How big is my email quota (mailbox size that I am  entitled to)?

Users will receive a mailbox 500MB of size.

Users will receive a reminder if their mailbox exceeds 470MB.

Users will not be able to send or receive new email of their mailbox exceeds 480MB.

• How to change your password.

Login to IIUM webmail (old account). Select Options and click Change Password link.
