Welcome to the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT). The utmost vision of the KICT is to produce knowledge workers equipped with ICT skills and knowledge ('Ilm) and God Consciousness (Taqwa). In order to achieve this vision, we are working at recruiting best local and international students, experienced and professional lecturers, and researchers, thus paving the way for a more exciting and challenging venue for learning. We offer competitive academic programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and are working actively toward establishing more rigorous programmes in the near future.

The uniqueness of our programmes is that the integration of ICT knowledge and applications with Islamic principles. This "Islamicization" process might open doors for Muslims to use ICT for the benefits of Islam.

At the same time, we hope to provide our students with a positive and memorable stay at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), particularly at KICT, so that they may regard this part of their education, both socially and academically, as a special time of their lives.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman,
