بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
Welcome to the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy website, a window to our teaching, research and engagement activities.
The Kulliyyah of Pharmacy was established in 2002, with a vision of restoring the dynamic and progressive role of the muslim ummah in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Our Bachelor in Pharmacy (Honours) programme is accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency and it is carefully designed to meet the vision and mission of the university to be in line with the National Education Philosophy. We are focusing to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced with a harmonious belief and devotion to God. As future pharmacists, our students will play an important role in shaping the ummah towards good health and better societal well-being. They will have opportunities to work in public and private practice within hospitals and community settings, in the pharmaceutical industry and government sector, research and academia.
Research within the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy involves various disciplines in the areas of pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, physiology and pharmacy practice. These disciplines are devoted to the discovery, design, synthesis, mechanism of action, delivery and the fate of drugs and their toxicology, clinical patient-care and optimisation of pharmacotherapy, pharmacoeconomic and pharmacoepidemiological aspects of pharmacy and health services management and policy.
The Kulliyyah of Pharmacy is supported by a contingent of qualified and experienced faculty members whose individual expertise in research and teaching is well accepted both locally and internationally. We hope that you will find all the information you need on the website and please do not hesitate to get in contact with us if you have any queries or enquiries. We will be happy to direct you to the appropriate personnel or information source.
