Associate Professor Dr Wan Mohd Zulhafiz bin Wan Zahari is an experienced academic who presently serves as the Deputy Dean (Academic & Internationalisation) at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is also the IIUM Company Secretary and was previously the IIUM Deputy Legal Advisor. His expertise includes Energy Law (in particular Oil and Gas Contracting), Corporate and Commercial Law, Legal Research, and Legal Writing. 

Dr Wan Zulhafiz is a competent legal expert with a solid academic background. He received his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) from IIUM. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor in the High Court of Malaya in 2009. He obtained a Master of Law (LLM) in Corporate Law from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), which has expanded his knowledge of corporate legal concerns. Furthermore, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with a specialisation in Oil & Gas Law from the prominent University of Aberdeen, indicating his dedication to a thorough understanding of the complexity of the oil and gas industry.

Dr Wan Zulhafiz also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Energy Management from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP). Because of his unique blend of legal and business knowledge, he is an indispensable academic capable of handling legal issues in the energy industry. His commitment to education and broad experience makes him a strong force in law, making substantial contributions to the academic community with a distinct focus on the complexities of corporate and energy-related legal concerns.
