Expert Profile


Dr. Haruna Babatunde Jaiyeoba has been working, since 2019, as Assistant Professor at the International Institute for Halal Research and Training (INHART), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He has a multidisciplinary background and has gained broad skills in research with excellent experience in working with research teams. His areas of expertise include halal business and investment opportunities; halal finances and financing; halalpreneurship; halal supply chain management; consumer behaviour; food security, access, and affordability; corporate social responsibility; Islamic social finance; modern and behavioural finance; and relevant others. He has been involved in prominent consultancy projects and conducted several research related training. He is an active researcher with several indexed publications in his areas of expertise. He was an outstanding IIUM student during his PhD. and MSc. days, and currently an advisor to INHART’s Postgraduate Students’ Society (INHART-PGSS). He welcomes research collaboration in his areas of expertise.
