31^st passing out parade and Royal Commissioning of Reserved Officer Training Unit (ROTU), was held at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) on 17^thJuly ,2012.

1,284 cadet  officers from three branches of armed forces namely, army, navy  and air force were involved in the parade. 40 of the cadet officers (air force) were from IIUM.
