INTRODUCTION

The Safety and Security Section (SSS), IIUM was established on 2009, and plays an important role in ensuring IIUM is a safe and secure campus. The Safety and Security Section is committed to support the leadership of the University in achieving the University’s mission and vision. In undertaking its function in safety and security of the University, the Safety and Security Section promises to provide top quality services to its customers.
The Safety Security Section has been established by the merging of two units, namely: the Security Management Unit and Occupational Safety & Health Unit.

Vision : To become a professional, reliable and committed team in delivering quality campus security services.

Mission : Making iium kuantan  safe and secure campus by focusing on excellent enforcement and controlling, engaging in pro-active crime prevention measures, efective investigation and responsive assistance to customers.
