THE FUNCTION OF THE UNIT

• To plan coaching program and to improve the number of certified coach via National Coach Certificate scheme
• To advise on all aspects on games technical
• To plan and co-organise with the National Sports Associations on university, national and international     sports tournaments/events
• Supervise the assessment and appointment of IIUM Varsity team coaches, life guards and gym assistants
• To ensure the welfare of coaches, life guards and gym assistants to be preserved
• To plan and conduct sports courses and seminar
• To plan and cooperate with other sports section/unit in ensuring the synchronization of the Sports Development programme
