Norwina is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED). She was the first Head of Department for Architecture programme and has held the post of Deputy Dean Student Affairs and an academic advisor. Currently, she is heading the Islamic Architectural Heritage Unit (ISArcH), set up in June 2013, as the unit coordinator to spearhead the niche area of KAED in Islamic architecture.
