Noor Hanita Abdul Majid is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Architecture (1987) and Master of Architecture (1989) degrees in the field of Architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA. Her Ph.D (2000) is from the University of Technology Malaysia where she studied outdoor thermal comfort of urban plazas adjacent to tall buildings.
