Tan Teng Ju graduated with a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Bioindustry from University Putra Malaysia. With an ambition to be a professor, he decided to pursue a Ph. D. in Food Science and Technology at Cornell University, New York in August 2008, under the supervision of Dr. Carmen I. Moraru. Teng Ju was the recipient of the Special Fund Award by the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) for his significant work that could help improve the economic position of the dairy industry.
