Expert Profile


Muhammad Afif Bin Husman received his B.Eng (Mechatronics) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2011, MEng. (Biomedical) from University of Malaya in 2013, and Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering from Leeds University UK in 2018. He is currently serving as an assistant professor in the Department of Mechatronics, Kulliyyah of Engineering IIUM. His research interests include sensor interfacing, software development and teleoperated robot communication. He is currently attached with the Center for Unmanned Technology (CUTe) IIUM, with main focusĀ as the lead developer for IIUM Medibot, a special medical robot capable of telepresence and intelligent navigations.
