Kuantan - - Centre for Foundation Studies(CFS) International Islamic University Malaysia(IIUM) today has sent a contingent of athletes consisting of 108 students and 30 officers to Inter Asasi Games (IAG) 2019 will be held at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) Gong Badak Campus and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) on 23rd until 26th of January 2019. 

Before sending them off all the CFS athlete, a flag handing ceremony was officiated by IIUM CFS Dean also the Chief De Mission, Br Murshid Kassim. 

With the theme for this year 'Stay Fit Stay Connected with Games', IAG 2019 is organized with the aim of cultivating a healthy lifestyle among students. 

In fact, this sports tournament is also indirectly a collaborative network between UAs Foundation Centre all over the country and Matriculation can be built which will bring many advantages directly and indirectly. 

In addition, this tournament can also be used as a platform for the university and in particular the country is in the quest for young talents in sports where it can be an asset to the country someday. 

CFS athletes will take part in the following games/sports at 11 category such as Football, Netball, Volleyball, Futsal, Badminton, Archery, Lawn Bowl, Petanque, Swimming, Fun Run 5KM and Chess. 

This event are jointly organized by Pusat Asasi Sains dan Perubatan UniSZA (PUSPA) and Pusat Asasi STEM UMT.
