Expert Profile


Dr Muhammad Abdullah is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at International Islamic University Malaysia, specializing in Automatic Control and System Engineering. His area of interest is in vehicle dynamics, and the application of automatic control in automotive engineering and intelligence systems specifically ADAS systems. He obtained his B.Sc. in Mechanical-Automotive Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2011, then his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2014, and his Ph.D. from The University of Sheffield, UK in 2019. He is a registered Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Dr. Muhammad believes in fostering an interactive and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking. He integrates real-world research problems into his teaching to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications. His commitment to student success is evident in his approachable nature and dedication to providing extra support through mentoring and career advice.
