Expert Profile


Joined International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 1997 and is currently a lecturer and Head of Department at the Department of Applied Arts and Design, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED). She was also among the department members who developed the curriculum for Bachelor of Applied Arts and Design programme. She also has held positions as an Academic Advisor and a research consultant at her department and university levels.
She has written a number of research papers in local and international journals, book chapters and articles on Malay wood carving, cultural heritage and art conservation, and presented her work at major national and international conferences.
