Expert Profile
Dr. Rohaiza graduated with B.HSc in Sociology and Anthropology from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), then earned M.Sc in Applied Social Research from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and Ph.D in Sociology from the University of Bristol, Britain. She specialises in sociology of work and has expertise in research methodologies. Her research interests also include women, work and employment; gender studies.
Her works have been published as articles and book chapters, both in ISI and Scopus indexed such as Asian Journal of Women Studies and Asian Social Science, as well as in other reviewed journals. She teaches sociology, particularly on "work and organisations"'; "women and society". She is currently an associate professor at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, IIUM.
Her works have been published as articles and book chapters, both in ISI and Scopus indexed such as Asian Journal of Women Studies and Asian Social Science, as well as in other reviewed journals.
