Profile
Dr. Nurul Huda Abdul graduated with Bachelor of Science (Hons) (Zoology), Master of Science (Applied Entomology – Aquatic Entomology/ Bioindicator) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) (Applied Entomology - Insect Ecology) from the School of Biological Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She was admitted to the Department of Plant Science, Kulliyyah of Science as academic staff in June 2017.
She is currently an Assistant Professor at the said Kulliyyah. She has co-authored a handbook ‘Aquatic Macroinvertebrates of Belum Temenggor Rainforest Streams’ (Pulau Banding Foundation, 2014) and book chapters in ‘Biodiversity of Gunung Ledang; Mountaineering the Nature’ (School of Biological Sciences, USM & Johor National Parks Corporation, 2014) and ‘Johor Nature Heritage’, (USM & Johor National Parks Corporation, 2014). She has written a few valuable research articles published in both local and international journals and has also presented papers at conferences in the area of Environmental Sciences and Biological Diversity particularly on Aquatic and Agricultural Entomology.
Her areas of interests include Insect Taxonomy and Population Ecology.
