MOHD RAFAEI BIN MOHD BASRI (Ts.) is a seasoned academic and administrator with extensive experience in the field of architecture and environmental design. Serving as a Matriculation Teacher at the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), he has made significant contributions to both academic and student development. He holds a BSc. in Architectural Studies (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Islamic Studies, both from IIUM. His administrative roles have included positions such as Head of the Department of Architecture and Environmental Design, Deputy Dean of Academic and Internationalisation, and Coordinator for the Islamisation of Human Knowledge. His areas of interest include Islamic Architecture, Heritage Architecture, the Islamisation of Human Knowledge, and Student Development. He has been actively involved in research focused on Built Environment Education, the Islamisation of Built Environment Education, Student Holistic Development, and Innovation in Teaching and Learning. His research efforts have been recognized through multiple awards at national and international research conferences and innovation competitions. In recognition of his dedication to education, he has been honored with the Best Teacher Award and the Best Innovator Award during CFS Takrim Day. His commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and student development has solidified his reputation as a leading figure in his field.
