Muhammad Fathiy Bin Mohd Mutalabisin is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, IIUM. He graduated in Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) in 2017, then obtained Msc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmaceutical Technology) in 2021 both in IIUM. In 2026, he obtained Ph.D. in Physical Science (Chemistry) from University of Malaya (UM). His doctorate research revolves around small molecule synthesis,  analytical chemistry, and anti-diabetic assay. His interests in combining current marketed drugs with bioactive scaffold such as fluorinated benzene rings and heterocylic amines to enhance the efficacy or reduce the toxicity of those particular compounds.
