I commenced the role of Assistant Professor at the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Abdulhamid AbuSulayman Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia on May 15, 2019. Prior to this appointment, I held a position as an academic trainee for the Master's and PhD programs under the SLAB, JPA scholarship. My area of expertise encompasses Syariah Law, with a focus on Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Property Law (Will and Inheritance). My responsibilities include teaching courses such as Introduction to Fiqh, Introduction to Usul al-Fiqh, Adillat al-Ahkam, and Fiqh al-Usrah, as well as supervising students' Final Year Projects (FYP) and internship programs. I have supervised Master's students on various topics including waqaf, criminal law, contemporary women's issues, and family matters from an Islamic jurisprudence and Maqasid Shariah perspectives. Additionally, I fulfill the role of Academic Advisor, supporting the intellectual, social, and educational endeavors of undergraduate students within the Department of Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh.
