Asst. Prof. Dr Dhamirah Nazihah Mohd Nasiruddin is a Pathologist specialising in Haematology, Medical Lecturer, Head of the Haematology Unit and Quality Manager at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, SASMEC @IIUM. She completed fellowship training in Thrombosis and Haemostasis at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, United Kingdom, supported by the EAHAD Training Fellowship Grant and ISTH Reach-the-World Fellowship. Her professional interests include haemostasis and thrombosis diagnostics, laboratory quality management, digital morphology and AI-assisted blood-film analysis. She contributed to the department’s transition to MS ISO 15189:2022 and leads quality-management activities within the department. As Coordinator of the Year 2 Haematology and Transfusion Medicine course, she is involved in undergraduate teaching, curriculum coordination and clinical laboratory education.
