Dr. Nurdiyana Binti Mohamed is a registered Clinical Microbiologist (since 2023) and medical pathologist with a strong research focus on molecular microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, and tropical pathogens. After completing her Doctor of Pathology (DrPath) in Medical Microbiology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), she joined the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Dr. Nurdiyana actively bridges clinical diagnostics, medical education, and community outreach. She spearheads and collaborates on molecular-driven research initiatives at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC@IIUM) while concurrently dedicated to training preclinical medical students and contributing to public health education through community programs.   Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole resistant Burkholderia pseudomallei across tertiary hospitals.
