Assistant Professor Dr. Hikmah Mohd Nor started her career as a dental officer with the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia in 2022. She joined the Kulliyyah of Dentistry, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) as a trainee lecture in May 2008, after 6 years of service with the MOH Malaysia. Shortly afterwards, she went for her postgraduate studies in Prosthodontics at the Queen Mary University of London, from September 2008 until September 2011, and obtained her degree in Master of Clinical Dentistry (Prosthodontics) and Diploma of the Membership in Prosthodontics (M Pros) from The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Asst. Prof. Dr. Hikmah Mohd Nor was appointed as a clinical specialist in Prosthodontics at Kulliyyah of Dentistry IIUM in November 2011, and is presently a member of the Department of Prosthodontics. She is currently involved in the teaching of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research areas include impression materials, tooth surface loss and natural products in dentistry.
