Expert Profile


Norsyahida Mokhtar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of  Accounting, Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences. She obtained her Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Science (Accounting) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), and PhD (Accounting) from University of Malaya (UM). She has won the Gold Award for Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Articles of Merit on PAIB in 2009. She was also awarded with 'Early Career Researchers Seed Grant' of The International Association for Accounting Education and Research (IAAER) in 2011. She has been actively involved in research works on corporate environmental and sustainability issues, management accounting and accounting information systems.
