Expert Profile


Nur Hafizah Azizan completed her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Resource Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology at the University Malaysia Sarawak. She received her Ph.D at The Australian National University in 2015, specialising in the engineering of the metal binding site of Methyl Parathion Hydrolase as part of her research in Biochemistry. Presently, her research is centred on molecular, protein, and microbiological investigations related the environmental samples, with a primary focus on hydrocarbon bioremediation, screening of functional oxygenases and water quality analysis.
