Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah Misman began his academic career at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 1999 as an Academic Assistant in the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS). After completing his doctoral studies, he joined the academic faculty under the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) in 2014. His early research and publications focus on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), specifically digital learning platforms and web accessibility for users with disabilities. Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah has taught courses in Management Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, and Web Programming using open-source tools. Current Research Interests:


  • Sensory Radar Data Analytics: Analyzing the data behavior of ultrasonic radar input patterns in collaboration with an IIUM industry partner.


  • Accessible Navigation Systems: Adapting GPS semantic data to synthesize navigational guides tailored for visually impaired users.


He is an active member of the Malaysian Information Science Society (MYAIS) and Persatuan Capaian Maklumat dan Pengurusan Pengetahuan (PECAMP) seeks to engage with additional professional bodies in his field.







Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah Misman
is an academic staff member at IIUM’s Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT), having served the university since 1999. He earned his Ph.D. and officially joined the KICT faculty in 2014, bringing extensive teaching experience in Management Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, and Open-Source Web Programming. Specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and accessibility, Dr. Ahmad Fatzilah's research projects involved the ultrasonic data pattern analysis and semantic GPS adaptation for visually impaired navigation. He is a member of the Malaysian Information Science Society and Persatuan Capaian Maklumat dan Pengurusan Pengetahuan (PECAMP).
