Assistant Professor Dr Rasimah Ismail is a Consultant Physician and Dermatologist in Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC@IIUM). She currently leads the Dermatology Unit in the Department of Medicine SASMEC@IIUM. Her academic qualifications include MBBCh (Cardiff), Doctor of Medicine (Internal Med) and Advanced Master in Dermatology (AdvMDerm UKM). She has supervised the training of many IIUM medical undergraduates and post-graduate students from other internal medicine and other medical disciplines. Her areas of research interest are inflammatory diseases and laser treatment. Dr Rasimah is an active member of the Malaysian Dermatological Society and Academy of Medicine Malaysia. The Dermatology Unit, Department of Medicine is equipped with clinical services for emergency, outpatient and inpatient care.
