Expert Profile
Anis Izzati Ismail completed her tertiary studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She earned her Bachelor of Human Sciences in English Language and Literature in 2013, and later pursued her Master of Human Sciences in Applied Linguistics, which she completed in 2017. In 2023, she was awarded the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) award by the U.S. State Department, where she participated in women empowerment programs such as training, coaching and research in the areas of peace building and community resilience through discourse and pragmatic analysis. She joined the Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS), IIUM, as a matriculation lecturer and is currently an academic staff member in the Department of English, specializing in Humanities, Linguistics, and Literature.
