Expert Profile
Nurjasmine Aida Binti Jamani obtained her medical degree in 2003 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Upon graduating, she did her housemanship in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and subsequently posted as a Medical Officer in the state of Pahang in various medical departments. She then joined the academic trainee program and continued her postgraduate study in the field of Family Medicine in 2008. She obtained her medical specialty degree in 2012.
She has gained interest in the area of Women’s Health and has involved in researches pertaining to it. She also developed an interest in Lactation Medicine and groomed herself to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2016. Currently, she serves the University as a Family Medicine Specialist and Medical Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine, Kulliyyah of Medicine, IIUM.
She has gained interest in the area of Women’s Health and has involved in researches pertaining to it. She also developed an interest in Lactation Medicine and groomed herself to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2016.
