Expert Profile


Dr. Sharifah Imihezri bt. Syed Shaharuddin started her career as a quality engineer at Sony Technology Malaysia, Bangi in 2000 upon completion of her B. Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at University Tenaga Nasional, Kajang. She was appointed as an Assistant Lecturer by IIUM in 2004. She then pursued her MSc in Mechanical Engineering at University Putra Malaysia and successfully completed her study in 2005.
She then furthered her studies at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and successfully completed her Ph.D in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, Kulliyyah of Engineering.
