Session Overview:

The Training of Trainers (ToT) for the Insan Sejahtera Module was conducted on 24 July 2023 at Exam Hall 1 involving 145 participants (Academic & Administrative Staff). The purpose of this session was to ensure an effective and impactful engagement with facilitators involved in the implementation of the Insan Sejahtera module for the upcoming Ta’aruf Programme 2023/2024. The ToT aimed to provide participants with a clear understanding of the module's content, methodologies, and best practices. The session incorporated group activities, lectures, and sharing sessions to enhance participants' skills and knowledge.

The session starts with the welcoming remark from the Team Leader for CFS Insan Sejahtera Committee Dr. Taifunisyam Taib and followed by the speech from the Deputy Dean Student Development & Community Engagement which highlight the gist of Insan Sejahtera module (KHAIR) and the expected impact of the module.

Then the session proceeds with an icebreaker activity to create a comfortable and interactive environment. Participants were divided into groups and asked to introduce themselves between the group members.  A comprehensive lecture was conducted by subject matter experts, covering the key aspects of the Insan Sejahtera Module which are Khalifah, Amanah, Iqra’ and Rahmatan lil Alamin (KHAIR). The presentation included an overview of the module's objectives, its relevance to the Ta’aruf program, and the expected learning outcomes for the students.

Facilitators were divided into smaller groups and provided with specific sections of the module. Each group was tasked with analyzing the content and identifying key teaching points, potential challenges, and interactive elements to engage students effectively.

After the group activities, each group of participants had the opportunity to present their findings and insights. This sharing session allowed facilitators to learn from one another, exchange ideas, and address any concerns related to module implementation.

A dedicated Q&A session was held to address specific queries or doubts that facilitators had regarding the implementation of the module. Trainers and committees of Insan Sejahtera Module were available to provide clarifications and practical solutions.

Key Takeaways:

  • Facilitators gained a thorough understanding of the Insan Sejahtera Module's content and objectives.
  • Participants learned and practiced effective training techniques and engagement strategies.
