Introduction

Welcome to the 2^nd National Seminar in Contemporary Fiqh (NSCF2020) on Family Fiqh In Malaysia: Towards Promoting Insan Sejahtera in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Kuliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, IIUM. 

The organizer brings to you NSCF2020, as part of its research activities on the topic of “Family Fiqh in Malaysia: Towards Promoting Insan Sejahtera”. This Seminar intends to bring together, scholars, practitioners, lawyers, Shariah experts, family counselors and post-graduate researchers and other interested parties to engage with topical issues related to its focal areas or other pertinent questions relevant to the theme of the seminar. 

The papers submitted to the seminar will be subject to the process of blind peer review before the acceptance letter can be issued to the author(s). Presentation of accepted papers is subject to the payment of the seminar fee. All accepted papers will be published as book chapters with International Publisher: IIUM Press. Selected papers from the seminar will also be published in IIUM, "Journal of Islam in Asia”  with the condition that the author(s) would pay the publication fee.  Accordingly, you are cordially invited to submit your paper at the earliest time possible via email provided.
