KULLIYYAH OF MEDICINE

In view of the current COVID-19 situation in the country, we all need to play our role in trying to curb the spread of the virus.  Though the restriction for inter-state travel has been lifted by the government, we need to be cautious with our actions and travelling plans.

If you plan to travel to the Enhanced Movement Controlled Order (EMCO) area, you are required to get approval from the Dean through your respective Head of Department. The KOM 'Application form for interstate travel' can be downloaded at https://bit.ly/2W6Pp9U. Please submit this to the Dean after obtaining a recommendation from the Daan.

Upon returning from the EMCO, you are required to inform the KOM COVID Task Force via email of your return and mention in the email if you are symptomatic.  You are also required to fill in the Health Declaration Form (link in the SOP) prepared by the COVID-19 Operation Room of IIUM Kuantan. 

Swab, quarantine and/or Work From Home,  are not necessary if you are asymptomatic. Each staff member is responsible to do self-monitoring, practice good personal hygiene, practice 3W and avoid 3C upon returning from the EMCO area.
