Expert Profile


Rohayah has twenty-five years of experience in the field of Information Communications and Technology (ICT) locally and abroad. She had held various positions and had successfully implemented various critical projects.
Rohayah was seconded to Sheba Telecom (Pvt) Ltd Dhaka Bangladesh (expatriate) in 2000 for more than two years as Head of Billing and IT and had demonstrated extensive managerial and industrial expertise on Project Management, Revenue Assurance, Mediation and Billing, ICT and Customer Service Management. She successfully discovered 1½ years revenue leakages for Sheba Telecom in the first three months of secondment. During her time in Sheba, she had thirteen subordinates working with her and had managed the team very well.
She has a very strong background in PreSales, especially in the area of Bid Management with more than five years of hands-on experience in this area. As a PreSales, Rohayah had responded to various RFI, RFP and RFQ locally and internationally. She also liaised and managed customers' and partners' expectations and deliverables.
She joined IIUM in August 2014 as a Matriculation lecturer in the Information Communications and Technology Department, Centre for Foundation Studies in Petaling Jaya.
She was invited as a speaker by the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology UTHM in November 2014 for the final year students on the topic "Employers' Expectation : A Knowledge Sharing Session".  Currently, she is in the Gambang Campus.
