Noramizah Mohd Yusoff holds a Masters degree in English as a Second Language (M.Ed. TESL).She joined IIUM in 1996 as a CELPAD teacher. For the past 21 years, Noramizah has held several administrative positions at the Centre for Foundation Studies, CELPAD. Among the administrative posts are like ELD rep for EDUCALL and Advisor for English Language Enhancement Programme,
Noramizah also had been invited to be the speaker for TDU Sharing sessions for English Language Teachers/Lecturers. She had become the mentor for a few English Writing Competitions like Maybank Perdana Writing Competitions and UNESCO Writing Competition.
