Expert Profile


Former Head, Department of Quantity Surveying (2012-2014) and former Resource Center Coordinator (20011-2012) of the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED). Currently she is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Quantity Surveying, Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
She serves as Editorial Board member of the Journal of Quantity Surveying and Construction Business, and the Journal of Architecture, Planning and Construction Management, secretariat of the International Multi-national Joint Venture for Construction Works Conferences (2005-2013), International ASEAN Community Conferences (2014-2015), IIUM-Kyoto University Research Colloquium (2013-2014) and Co-Chair of the Management in Construction Researchers' Association (MiCRA) Conferences (2012-2014). Dr. Sharina has authored, co-authored, edited and co-edited 2 books and more than 30 technical papers and presentations on quantity surveying, labour migration, pre-qualification of contractors, procurement and shari'ah compliant contract.
