Dr. Tengku Nordayana Akma binti Tuan Kamaruddin is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia. She obtained her B.Sc. in Mechanical-Automotive Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2009, then her M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from University Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2012, and her Ph.D. from Loughborough University, UK in 2018. She is a registered Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She is also a Graduate member in The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). She did an industrial attachment in PROTON Shah Alam underĀ Local Expert Attachment Program (LEAP) for a duration of 12-month from September 2018 to September 2019. Her research topics include sustainable vehicle propulsion technology, vehicle safety, and automotive design. She has collaborated with industrial partners for research projects with PETRONAS (2022-2024) and also ASEAN NCAP (2020-2022).
