Mohamad Ikmal Hakimi Mohamad Helni is currently an academic staff at the Department of Quranic Language, Centre for Foundation Studies (CFS) International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) Gambang Campus. He graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2018 majoring in Bachelor of Human Sciences (Arabic Language and Literature) (Honours) which then obtained his Master degree in Arabic Linguistics Studies from the same institution. He began teaching at the Centre from 2019 and has hold few administrative positions namely Fellow (Mahallah) and Assistant Coordinator for CILLC and Student Focus Empowered Activities (SFErA) @ Language Enhancement Programmes (LEP) Unit for the Department of Quranic Language. Currently, he is holding the position as the Head of Advocacy and Consultancy for the IIUM World Debate and Oratory Centre (IWON). Apart from being an academic, he is actively involved as well in oratory and debate tournaments and development programmes nationally and internationally held in Malaysia, Turkiye, Qatar and others.
